Sound Familiar?

You: I always have so many goals that i never finish. they're still on my "to do" list.

Phill: Me too, especially when it's something small that takes just a few minutes.

You: Oh, I can relate. I think the problem is that there's a million things that sound more fun than what i should be doing and i get distracted by those.

About this site

Hi, I am Phill Duffy, a 37-year-old developer who lives in the UK.

I always have so many ideas on the go, and I occasionally start them, but I rarely finish them. The list of domain names I have bought for projects is enormous, all of them with some idea but not the execution to see them to the light of day.

I am currently working as a Developer on SEOTesting.com and bootstrapping a Social Media SaaS called Post Maker.

I am pretty sure I have ADHD, neurodivergent at least. The first book which resonated that I might have some form of ADD/ADHD was the awesome 'Faster than Normal' by Peter Shankman.

I am terrible at self-organisation; I know what I need to do but never do it.

I have read so many books on being organised, but nothing sticks.

  • Atomic Habits
  • Getting Things Done
  • Crush It
  • Zero to One
  • The Lean Startup

When I read a book like this, I want to go straight away after page 2 and then do it for about a day and revert to being more reactionary than action led.

My GoodReads profile: https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/32934285-phill-duffy

I have a young family and need to balance family time, learning, personal downtime, and projects.

On my list at the moment is

  • Learn the Rust Programming Language
  • Increase MRR of Post Maker
  • Read Frequently
  • Become Proficient in VIM
  • Learn more about SEO
  • Create more Content
  • Draw more
  • Photograph more
  • Get Fitter

They're not SMART objectives.

I want to find a group of no more than six people who have similar goals, who would like to be in regular contact to hold each other accountable, share goals, visions and ideas to keep each other on track for our dreams without getting distracted.

Each week we choose one or two things that "we will get done" and encourage, support and persuade each other they complete the task. We're on hand to nudge when needed.

If you have similar goals, and looking to connect with a small group of similar people. Get in touch.
